For the first time, we’ve ventured beyond our in-house ingredients to collaborate with like-minded creators, crafting a drink as conscientious as it is delicious.
Enter KOA Impact, a groundbreaking initiative changing the game for cacao farmers. By buying, pressing, and selling the juice of the cacao fruit—a vibrant, flavorful byproduct often overlooked—they provide farmers with additional income and the world with an ingredient too extraordinary to ignore. Naturally, we had to use it. Scarto Jungle Bird is just the beginning; expect this juice to star in many more of our creations.
For now, it takes center stage in a light, fruity rum cocktail. Balanced with a bittersweet tang and a touch of sour zest, it’s a drink designed to charm. The complexity comes courtesy of our friends at Manöverschluck, whose exceptional Caribbean rum blend adds depth and richness to the mix.
